Mr. Thomson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, and a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan.

Mr. Thomson is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Florida, Illinois, and Iowa and before the U.S. Tax Court.

Mr. Thomson is a member of the Florida Bar Association (business law section) and the Iowa State Bar Association. The firm is an affiliate member of the Florida Business Brokers Association and the Business Brokers of Florida.

Mr. Thomson moved to Florida, after practicing law in Iowa for six years, in the fall of 1993 to become involved in a family business venture where he was Vice President, General Counsel, and Director of Operations for a special three-year/two million dollar contract with Siemens Stromberg-Carlson. He has practiced business law as a sole practitioner in the state of Florida since 1996.
